Every year, CPRS Districts hold their annual Awards and Installation banquets to showcase award-winning facilities, people and programs from their area, as well as install the new Board of Directors. CPRS District 2 is no exception and will be holding their Awards and Installation Banquet on Friday, February 22, at the City of Folsom Community Center.
CPRS District 2’s Awards and Installation Banquet is very unique, which is fitting because District 2 is also very unique.

The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) has released the results of its latest survey, Californians and their Government." The PPIC Statewide Survey provides policymakers, the media, and the public with objective, advocacy-free information on the perceptions, opinions, and public policy preferences of California residents. This is the 131st PPIC Statewide Survey in a series that was inaugurated in April 1998 and has generated a database of responses from more than 276,000 Californians. |

Through an annual survey, TPL’s Center for City Park Excellence (CCPE) maintains the nation's most complete database of park facts for the 100 most populous U.S. cities. CA Agencies Can Partner to Apply for ConAgra Food Foundation Grants |

ConAgra Foods Foundation is awarding grants to programs that increase access to nutritious foods and nutrition education among children in creative and innovative ways. If you are looking to expand your program that supports participation in federal nutrition assistance programs or increases children’s access to nutritious meals or nutrition education, submit your letter of intent by January 28, 2013.
Grant awards will range from $10,000 to $75,000 with an average grant size of $35,000. Agencies are encouraged to partner with their own foundation or other non-profits as applicants must be classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. To learn more click here. |
