CA Aquatic Management School (CAMS)
Lake Arrowhead, CA / North Lake Tahoe, CA (opposite years)
Hosted by the CPRS Aquatics Section
This management school offers training for all aquatics professionals, from pool managers and coordinators to recreation and aquatic supervisors and administrators. With vast networking opportunities and nationally recognized speakers, CAMS showcases the latest trends in aquatic programming. This program rotates between Lake Arrowhead (even years) and North Lake Tahoe (odd years.)

Every year, 150+ park and recreation professionals, representing over 60 public agencies, arrive in stunning Lake Arrowhead to participate in this five-year program. The school teaches a systematic approach for determining the resources needed to maintain a public facility, with lifelong professionals providing knowledge and opportunities not available anywhere else.

Certified Playground Safety Inspector – Certification Course
Location varies, multiple courses conducted all year
CPRS, in conjunction with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) are dedicated to promoting children's right to play in a safe and challenging play environment. The CPSI program offers the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on playground safety as well as provides certification for playground safety inspectors.
