• The City of Chula Vista offers a Therapeutic Recreation Internship. 500 minimum hours are required and student must be a Senior to comply with the University TR program or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, (NCTRC) guidelines. Interns will be paid $300.00 - $500.00 at the end of their internship contingent upon filing an application with the City, passing a City required physical and livescan fingerprints and passing the internship per approval of CTRS. • Cordova Recreation and Park District internships- paid 40 hour, 14 week, internship opportunity each summer (1) and fall (2). Additional unpaid positions will be considered on a case by case basis. • East Bay Regional Park District - under direction of the project supervisor, an intern is assigned to work on a specific project approximately 40 hours a week for a short-term period of 10-12 weeks.
