- The City of Chula Vista offers a Therapeutic Recreation Internship. 500 minimum hours are required and student must be a Senior to comply with the University TR program or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, (NCTRC) guidelines. Interns will be paid $300.00 - $500.00 at the end of their internship contingent upon filing an application with the City, passing a City required physical and livescan fingerprints and passing the internship per approval of CTRS. - Cordova
Recreation and Park District internships- paid 40 hour, 14 week, internship
opportunity each summer (1) and fall (2). Additional unpaid
positions will be considered on a case by case basis. Interns
are rotated to each of five facilities for a varied experience,
attend community collaborative meetings, and are given program

County Parks & Recreation
Department - offering
internships in community Recreation each spring, summer and
fall. Douglas County is located in the Carson Valley of Northern
Nevada as well as in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Send e-mail inquiries

- East Bay Regional Park District - under direction of the project supervisor, an intern is assigned to work on a specific project approximately 40 hours a week for a short-term period of 10-12 weeks.
