CFPR Foundation Cup Tournament Play Rules

  1. This tournament is a fundraising event that benefits the California Foundation of Parks & Recreation, a 501c3 foundation that supports California communities in collaboration with CPRS. Play today using fairness, integrity, and honor in the spirit of parks & recreation.
  2. Golf Carts are to always observe the 90-degree cart rule and keep 30 feet from greens and tee boxes. Please show respect for the golf course.
  3. Please keep up with the group in front of you and play ready golf within your foursome.
  4. Please repair your ball marks, replace divots, or fill with sand on the golf carts and rake bunkers after play.
  5. Play will be four-person scramble format with men hitting from the White Tees and women from the Green Tees. Each member hits a tee shot. Team selects the best shot and each member hits from that spot. All subsequent shots are hit in the same manner until the ball is holed.
  6. A two-tee shot requirement per team member is required for 18 holes. The two tee shots must be indicated on the scorecard by the appropriate team member’s name.
  7. All ties will be broken using a random drawing of a tiebreaker hole.
  8. If a ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, water, etc), rough, or out of bounds, you cannot drop the ball out of the hazard, rough, or remove the ball from out of bounds.
  9. Out of bounds is defined by all perimeter fences and/or white stakes. If the ball, you chose is out of bounds then a 1 stroke penalty is applied.
  10. The team with lowest score will be determined as the winner of the CFPR Foundation Cup Golf Tournament!
