Those whose CPSI certification will expire on or after July 1, 2026, are eligible to renew their certification via continuing education units (CEU) OR taking and passing the CPSI exam.  To renew the certification via Continuing Education Units (CEU), one must attend 20 hours of training / education sessions within the three-year certification window.  

These 20 hours (or 2.0 CEU) must include 10 hours of content pertaining to Group A (i.e., Hazard Identification and Risk Management) and 10 hours of content pertaining to Group B (i.e., Surfacing, Playground Environment, Audit, and Inspection & Maintenance).
